Virtual Girls in Action Summit

Join Chester County Fund for Women and Girls (CCFWG) for our second annual Girls in Action Summit! This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will be hosting a virtual Summit. Inspired by our award-winning Girls Advisory Board (GAB) girls’ grantmaking and leadership program, the Summit engages high school girls throughout Chester County for an empowering afternoon of action. Attendees will learn about the deep and varied needs in their communities while engaging in strategic grantmaking.

This year, we are thrilled to welcome keynote speaker Mo’ne Davis! A Philadelphia native, Mo’ne was one of two girls who played in the 2014 Little League World Series. As the first girl in Little League World Series history to earn a win and pitch a shutout, Mo’ne has an amazing story to tell about strength, perseverance and pursuing her passions.

At this year’s Summit, attendees with have the chance to:

• Connect virtually with fellow teens throughout Chester County
• Hear from leaders of local non-profits about how COVID-19 is impacting the women and girls they serve
• Be inspired by keynote speaker Mo’ne Davis
• Give back to your community by helping to award two $500 grants to local non-profits
• Learn about local girls with their own businesses and other resources for girls
