West Chester, PA (January 3, 2024): The Fund for Women and Girls is excited to announce the opening of the Kitchen Table Award nominations. The Fund’s Kitchen Table Award recognizes an outstanding Chester County woman who has translated their time, talents, and resources into substantive contributions, creating a legacy of positive change for women and girls in our county. Its name celebrates the genesis of The Fund: the many conversations held around kitchen tables, by our founders, about what could be done to address the needs of local women and girls.    

More than an accolade, it is a tribute to extraordinary Chester County women whose indomitable spirit has left an indelible mark on the fabric of our community. It is an opportunity to nominate someone in your life who, in your opinion, best exemplifies a true commitment to ensuring that Chester County women, girls, and their families have resources and opportunities to thrive.

The 2024 Kitchen Table Honoree will be presented with the award on Friday, May 3, 2024, at The Fund’s 19th Annual Making a Difference Luncheon. Previous winners include Loretta Perna (2023) and Matrie Johnson (2022).
