In response to the recent Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe v Wade, we at The Fund for Women and Girls stand ready to support the health of women and girls and invest in systems and sustainable efforts to challenge gender inequality.

As a coalition member of the Pennsylvania Campaign for Women’s Health, The Fund works to advance healthier, brighter, and safer futures for women and girls, and the right to self-determination is imperative to women’s well-being and security.

All women are vulnerable to restrictions of bodily autonomy, but the people who will be most harmed by limiting reproductive health care will continue to be Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, people with disabilities, people in rural areas, young people, immigrants, and those having difficulty making ends meet — all people who face systemic barriers to care.

The Fund will continue to advance women’s economic empowerment, gender equity, and gender-based violence prevention and will always stand behind our grantee partners who provide critical women’s healthcare services to vulnerable populations in our local communities. We will continue to support and uplift them.
